Alexander C Small, MD, is an Attending Physician and Assistant Professor at Montefiore-Einstein. Dr Small specializes in the treatment of urological diseases, cancer and kidney stones through the use of minimally invasive, robotic and endoscopic surgery. After receiving his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Pennsylvania, Dr Small attended Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, earning his Doctor of Medicine. He went onto his postdoctoral training at New York Presbyterian Hospital / Columbia University Medical Center, completing a general surgery internship followed by a urology residency, acting as chief resident in his final year.
