Meir Scheinfeld, MD, PhD

Meir H Scheinfield, MD, PhD is an Emergency Radiologist at Montefiore and an Associate Professor of Radiology at our Albert Einstein College of Medicine. During his time at Montefiore, his clinical focus has been on all areas of emergency imaging studies, with particular interests in imaging head and neck trauma, pelvic trauma, and nontraumatic abdominal pain. Dr Scheinfield received his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry at the Polytechnic Institute of New York University. He then received his Doctor of Medicine and Doctor of Philosophy at our Albert Einstein College of Medicine, where his doctoral work focused on the biochemistry and cell biology of Alzheimer's disease.
