Andrew Dubin attended Adelphi University for his bachelor's degree, and earned a master's degree from Toledo University prior to attending medical school at Albany Medical College. Following medical school, he interned at the Albany Medical Center Hospital in the department of internal medicine. He then completed his residency at the Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in physical medicine and rehabilitation (PM&R), where he served as chief resident. After his post-graduate training, he soon became an assistant professor and program director of the residency training program in physical medicine and rehabilitation at Albany Medical College. He progressed thru associate professor to full professor in 2012.
