Kasey Dougherty, PT joined The Iowa Clinic in 2022 after completing her education at The University of Iowa. She tore her rotator cuff during her collegiate volleyball career and is passionate about working with patients with similar shoulder injuries.
Physical Therapy can serve as a catalyst towards a healthier lifestyle both physically and mentally. Kasey enjoys seeing her patients improve their mobility and get back to the activities they love. The “lightbulb moment,” when patients are able to move in a way they once were not able to, is her favorite part about being a physical therapist.
ServicesKasey Dougherty is a Physical Therapist/Physical Therapy office located in Ankeny, IA 50023. A Physical Therapist is trained to evaluate a patient’s need for physical intervention services and to provide such physical intervention and treatment to help the patient recover mobility that has been diminished for some reason. Possible causes for loss of mobility are sports injuries, auto accidents, work-related accidents, post-operative surgeries, falls, and strokes. A Physical Therapist’s goal when providing treatment is to greatly improve mobility and range of motion for the affected area.
