Dr. Massie completed her undergraduate work in neuroscience at New York University, and received her medical degree from the University of Toledo College of Medicine in Toledo, Ohio. She completed a neurosurgery residency at the Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan, and a fellowship in Adult Spinal Deformity at Duke University in Durham, North Carolina.
She is a member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons and the Congress of Neurological Surgeons.

Dr. Lara Massie is a neurosurgeon specializing in spinal surgery for adult spinal deformities, scoliosis, trauma, and tumors.
