Dr. Elizabeth Cousineau is a graduate of Wayne State University School of Medicine. She completed her training with Michigan State University, Grand Rapids. Dr. Cousineau also attended The University of Michigan for her undergraduate studies.
In addition to her certifications for minimally invasive surgeries, she has a special interests. Identifying, diagnosing and treating Polycystic Ovary Syndrome, also known as PCOS. Dr. Cousineau says “PCOS is not well understood most of the time, and can involve a combination of factors, but this hormonal disorder effects many women.”
Dr. Cousineau also enjoys caring for pregnant patients; from the start of your pregnancy through birth! There are so many options, types of care, and decisions to make. Dr. Cousineau cares for each of her patients’ individually. She takes the time to listen and help her patients through this exciting transitional time into motherhood!
When Dr. Cousineau isn’t working, she enjoys spending time with her family, reading and is quite the foodie!
