Dr. Silva completed her undergraduate studies in nursing at Georgetown University. She then obtained her medical degree at Georgetown University School of Medicine. She trained in Internal Medicine at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago, IL and worked as a hospitalist at Northwestern before pursuing a fellowship in Palliative Medicine at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center.
