Mobeen Rathore, MD, is the founding director of the University of Florida Center for HIV/AIDS Research, Education and Service (UF CARES); a professor and associate chair in the Department of Pediatrics - Jacksonville; and chief of the division of Pediatric Infectious Diseases and Immunology at University of Florida College of Medicine - Jacksonville. He is chief of infectious diseases and immunology and a hospital epidemiologist for Wolfson Children's Hospital and co-chair of the Infection Prevention and Control Committee in the Baptist Health System. He is a prolific investigator who has been continuously funded by the National Institutes of Health for more than 27 years. He has received many teaching awards.
