When a baby is born needing extra care, there’s no better place to be than Children’s Hospital at Providence. Our Level III Newborn Intensive Care Unit (NICU) offers a full range of neonatal medical specialists who are ready every day, around the clock, to take care of the most critically ill newborns. We’re here for babies born at our center and for babies born elsewhere in Alaska. If a baby needs our care, we can get them here.
Our 66-bed NICU is a regional referral center for our state, and we serve all Alaskans including Alaska Native and military families.
