Angel Betancourt
Angel Betancourt, M.D., is a general surgeon at Baptist Health South Florida. Dr. Betancourt specializes in general surgery, advanced laparoscopy and robotic surgery. He was previously a member of the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons (SAGES) and the Society of Critical Care Medicine. Dr. Betancourt’s approach to patient care focuses on patients’ physical and emotional well-being, helping them return to a meaningful life in society. When he is not treating patients, Dr. Betancourt enjoys practicing the Japanese martial art judo.
