I have a passion and commitment to serve others and to show compassion. Family medicine is special because I'm able to see patients in all stages of life, see multiple generations of the same family and I love that aspect of it.

Please note at first I wasn’t going to leave a review but after speaking with my other doctors and explaining what had happened to me, they highly recommend and said that was totally unacceptable behavior. I was treated horribly by this PA and her nurse (which her nurse was very rude and she did not wear any visible ID. I now see why she doesn’t) Anyways, I actually felt “ganged up” or “tagged teamed”, per se. I don’t ever expect to be treated better or any differently than any other human being. Just human to human plain mutual respect. I was not even given that! They both repeatedly asked me a general medical question regarding my exam that I had scheduled and when I explained to both of them what my now retired doctor/specialist performed on me (which is a basic procedure that does NOT vary) they did not like my answer and continued to treat me horribly. I am not a medical professional but I do know the basic procedures and what surgeries I have had and didn’t have. It was so obvious they did not want to help me, much less do the exam and procedure I requested and scheduled to have. A true professional would not badger a patient (just to get me to say what they want to hear) about medical terminology they obviously should know and be well informed of. Most importantly, if they had any doubts, shouldn’t they discuss it with their peers or even look it up in their medical encyclopedia or better yet the internet???? Instead of badgering and dehumanizing the patient?? It was more than evident that Abigail Leigh Pearson and her nurse did not want to handle my appointment like a true professional would have. I do NOT RECOMMEND this PA and her nurse to any single person at all. I have been seeing doctors for over 50 years and this experience is definitely the worst I have ever encountered in my life. Talk about PTSD! Appalling!
