I would like to give my appreciation to April, my wound care tech for a whole year. My oncology Dr. Taylor and nurse Tina monitored my wound, they are the ones that measured the wound and Dr. also sent orders to April to do cultures after antibiotics were finished. The nurse sends April a computer note to do the cultures, she can't take it upon herself to do so. She was always compassionate and went to extreme measures to help my wound heal! I feel like she has become a sweet friend as well, we got to know each other well through the year of 2022 and still going! Thank You April and all the staff!
Don't go here. My dad was put in wound care here and things declined. The tech, April, didn't measure the wound each time, didn't culture again after my dad was finished with the antibiotics, or anything that typically happens in wound care. My sister and I had to go to an appointment with dad and start asking questions. The tech was then like, "oh I will ask if I can test for bacteria". I promise you that for a solid month no doctor looked at the wound. This could have been tragic. We transferred to wound care at saints in OKC. It's worth the drive because they do things right
