Dr. Moath Hamed is a movement disorders specialist at NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital. He graduated from the University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 2009. He went to medical school at Weill Cornell Medical College in Qatar, completed his internship at Brooklyn Hospital Center, residency in neurology at the Barrow Neurological Institute in 2017, and movement disorders clinical research fellowship at the University of Alberta in December 2019. He is board certified in adult neurology and a junior member of the American Academy of Neurology and the Movement Disorders Society. He published several peer-reviewed research articles and presented abstracts at the American Academy of Neurology and the International Association of Parkinsonism and Related Disorders meetings.
