Amira Mohamed, MD, is Director, Critical Care Fellowship Program, Associate Director, Medical Intensive Care Unit, Moses Campus and Assistant Professor, Medicine at Montefiore Einstein. Dr Mohamed is an intensivist with a specific interest in Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome (ARDS) and respiratory failure. After completing her medical school education in Khartoum, Sudan in 2012, Dr Mohamed later moved to the United States. She completed her internal medicine residency at Mount Sinai Medical Center in 2017, followed by a critical care medicine fellowship at Mount Sinai Hospital, Icahn School of Medicine in 2019, acting as Chief Fellow in her final year.
