Yoram A Puius, MD, PhD, is an attending physician, Associate Professor, Medicine and Associate Professor, Cardiothoracic & Vascular Surgery at Montefiore Einstein. His clinical focus centers on treating infections in the immunocompromised host, including recipients of solid organ transplants, patients with hematologic malignancies and recipients of cellular therapy. After obtaining his Bachelor of Arts in physics from Cornell University in 1992, Dr Puius earned his Doctor of Philosophy in biochemistry at Einstein in 1999, followed by his Doctor of Medicine in 2001.
