John Bent, MD, is Program Director, Pediatric Otolaryngology–Head & Neck Surgery and Professor, Otolaryngology–Head & Neck Surgery and Pediatrics at Montefiore-Einstein. His clinical focus is on all aspects of pediatric otolaryngology. In 1989, Dr Bent graduated from Wake Forest School of Medicine, where he also completed an internship in general surgery in 1990. He completed his otolaryngology residency at the Medical College of Georgia in 1994, followed by a yearlong pediatric otolaryngology fellowship at the University of Iowa. Dr Bent’s research focus is in minimally invasive surgery in children with ear, nose and throat disorders and innovations in resident education.
