Rohit I. Nijhawan, MD, specializes in medical, pediatric, and general dermatology, including acne, rosacea, and eczema (atopic dermatitis).
Dr. Nijhawan is interested in meeting the dermatologic needs of transplant patients through education, prevention, and monitoring of skin cancers. He has delivered presentations at the American Transplant Congress. Dr. Nijhawan is the coauthor of a book chapter in The Etiology of Atopic Dermatitis, and he is the coauthor of an article about skin cancer treatment in transplant patients that is published in Journal of the American Medical Association Dermatology.
As an undergraduate, Dr. Nijhawan studied at the University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia. During residency, he received elective dermatology training at the Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center in Israel.
In his free time, Dr. Nijhawan enjoys traveling. A native of central New Jersey, he is excited to return to New Jersey and provide outstanding dermatologic care to area patients.
