Silpa Gadiraju, MD, practices Endocrinology at Summit Health. Her areas of special interest include thyroid disease, pituitary disease, osteoporosis, polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), and diabetes. Dr. Gadiraju is an accomplished researcher and has participated in research studies on thyroid hormone absorption following bariatric surgery, as well as the metabolic profile of the South Asian Community.
Prior to joining Summit Health, Dr. Gadiraju completed her Clinical Fellowship in Endocrinology at Johns Hopkins. She is a member of the Endocrine Society, American Diabetes Association, and the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists.
Dr. Gadiraju is committed to patient care. In recognition of her caring and compassionate approach to working with patients, she was selected to be a member of the Gold Humanism Honor Society, and was awarded the VA Clinic Award during her residency training at Yale.
When she is not working, Dr. Gadiraju enjoys spending time with family, performing and watching various types of dance, and listening to music.
