Allyson is a breath of fresh air in a field of mental health professionals many of which seem not not listen and just go through the motions as if every one of their patients is the same person. I wish I'd found her earlier but am glad I did when I did because she helped me A LOT when other doctors were trying to give me anti-depressants when I'm not clinically depressed. I expressed this to Allyson and told her that if I'm feeling down, it's probably because my ADHD is out of control. That being said, she prescribed a new ADHD medication and it's worked extremely well. If you're tired of the same old same old or feel stuck with your current doctor, I highly suggest Allyson. She's definitely been more helpful than any psych professional I've ever seen over the last 10-15 years.
