Christie L. Buonpane, M.D., is a pediatric surgeon with Norton Children’s Surgery, affiliated with the UofL School of Medicine. Dr. Buonpane earned her medical degree from Rutgers New Jersey Medical School in Newark. She completed her general surgery residency at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, Pennsylvania, and a pediatric surgery fellowship at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine, Oklahoma City, specializing in minimally invasive surgery and neonatal congenital anomalies.With a focus on providing comprehensive and inclusive care, Dr. Buonpane believes in including patients and caregivers as integral members of the care team.
