An alumnus of the University of Florida where she majored in microbiology and cell science, she went on to earn a Master of Public Health at the University of South Florida followed by her medical degree at A.T. Still University’s Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Missouri. She continued her training as part of the Ascension Via Christi Family Medicine Residency program, where she was named Chief Resident.
