Karen Blitz, DO, is a neurologist at NewYork-Presbyterian Medical Group Brooklyn and the director of the M.S. program at NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital. Centers. She has received recognition for her work by the American Medical Women’s Association and is a member of the clinical advisory committee for the Long Island Chapter of the National M.S. Society. Dr. Blitz has published her research in medical journals and presented her work at national medical meetings.After graduating from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine, Dr. Blitz served her internship at Winthrop University Hospital. She completed her residency in neurology at Nassau County Medical Center, where she was chief resident in her final year and served her fellowship in neurorehabilitation at the Hospital for Joint Diseases at NYU Medical Center, where she later served as a neurology attending at the M.S. Care Center.
