Manuel Vogt, DO, is a Family and Osteopathic Physician with San Antonio Medical Associates.
Education and prevention are primary areas of focus for Dr. Vogt. His patients appreciate that he spends time learning about them and uncovering what might be triggering their health issues. He’s also a proponent of engaging other experts, like nutritionists, and educational tools like videos and podcasts, to optimize his patients’ care.
Inspired in part by a cousin who practiced Family Practice Physician in a small town in Germany, by witnessing several medical emergencies and by shadowing physicians in the emergency room, Dr. Vogt discovered he loved the diversity of Family Practice Physician. In addition, his residency at NYU Lutheran Langone Hospital’s The Wright Center for Graduate Medical Education allowed him to practice in a multicultural, multi-linguistic community. It offered excellent training and the opportunity to become certified in a number of procedures, like skin biopsies and joint injections which Dr. Vogt frequently performs.
Since joining Methodist Physicians in October 2019, Dr. Vogt, Dr. Leos and Nurse Practitioner Sunny Lee see patients in Alamo Heights and Methodist Hospital | Metropolitan.
