Dr. Scott Gottlieb received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Pennsylvania and his medical degree from Cornell University Medical College.
He completed a residency in internal medicine at the New York Hospital-Cornell Medical Center and a residency in dermatology at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. He also completed post- doctoral fellowships at The Rockefeller University in psoriasis research and at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in the treatment of skin cancers. He was the 1998 recipient of the Young Investigator Award of the American Academy of Dermatology. He has numerous publications and lectures regularly to other dermatologists throughout the country. He also serves as Clinical Instructor of Dermatology at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, where he is involved in teaching dermatology residents and is the Chairman of Dermatology at Brandywine Hospital. He is board certified in dermatology.
