It is our mission at Wood Haven Health Care to promote the well-being of our residents, enrich their existence and uphold the dignity of life. We strive to turn the problems of aging into challenges of rehabilitation, to change social isolations into warm friendships and to enable a reorientation of what is good in life.
Wood Haven Health Care Senior Living & Rehabilitation is an active and vibrant facility, providing many options for residents, as well as out-patient services. We offer skilled short-term care with private rehabilitation rooms and therapy treatments for seniors who need to be temporarily away from home. For those with long-term needs, around-the-clock nursing care is provided by dedicated caregivers, along with therapists and support staff under the direction of Dr. Thomas Wojciechowski Sr. Respite and hospice care can be provided as well.
Wood Haven is a public, non-profit organization owned and operated by the Board of Wood County Commissioners, Doris I. Herringshaw Ed.D, Craig LaHote, and Dr. Theodore H. Bowlus, and is managed by a dedicated team of experienced professionals and support staff.
