Harrison Pollinger, DO, FACS is a program director for Piedmont Transplant Institute. He is a multi-organ transplant surgeon who specializes in robotic surgery and transplant surgery. Dr. Pollinger's special interests include liver transplantation, hepatobiliary surgery, advanced laparoscopic surgery, bilateral laparoscopic nephrectomy, adult polycystic kidney disease, pancreas surgery and complex hernia repair. Dr. Pollinger received his medical degree from New York College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his multi-organ abdominal transplant fellowship at the Mayo Clinic and Foundation and completed his residency at Carolinas Medical Center. Dr. Pollinger is also a fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
