After completing his medical degree from The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston in 2008, Dr Nayeb-Hashemi completed his residency at the University of Illinois Eye and Ear Infirmary Department of Ophthalmology in Chicago in 2012. He received a cornea/refractive surgery fellowship from the Cleveland Clinic Cole Eye Institute in Cleveland, which he completed in 2013. Afterward, Dr Nayeb-Hashemi worked as a staff physician, clinical associate and assistant professor at both the Cleveland Clinic and Loyola University Medical Center before joining Kelsey-Seybold in September 2016.
