Dr. Greg Hodges was raised in Abilene, Texas and completed his undergraduate studies at Abilene Christian University, receiving a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 1984. His medical degree was obtained from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas where he also performed his internship and residency in internal medicine. Dr. Hodges then completed a fellowship in gastroenterology (1993) and a second fellowship in advanced therapeutic endoscopy (1994), both at UT Southwestern Medical Center. Dr. Hodges is board certified in gastroenterology and is a member of several professional associations including the American Gastroenterological Association, American College of Gastroenterology, American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, American Medical Association, Texas Medical Association, and the Dallas County Medical Society. Dr. Hodges’ special interests in gastroenterology include therapeutic endoscopy and inflammatory bowel diseases. Outside of the office, Dr. Hodges serves as a deacon of his church and has been actively involved for several years with the board of trustees at his children’s school.
