Why did you choose to specialize in Gastroenterology?
The field of Gastroenterology is very fascinating with a broad spectrum of disease processes. There are both acute illnesses which require you to treat and perform lifesaving procedures in an emergency situation. At the same time there are many chronic conditions that require you to form a life long relationship with your patients to more effectively make a positive impact in their lives.
Do you have a specialty of interest within GI?
Colon cancer screening and prevention, Acid reflux, Irritable bowel syndrome, Hepatobiliary disease, capsule endoscopy.

Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology
What do you and your family enjoy doing in your spare time?
I enjoy traveling, trying new restaurants and hiking. I enjoy supporting our local sports teams including the Dallas Cowboys and Mavericks.
