Why did you choose to specialize in Gastroenterology?
I found diseases of the hepatobiliary system, pancreas and digestive tract to be extremely interesting. The field has many facets and provided me with the opportunity to be involved in both clinical care as well as endoscopic procedures.
Do you have a specialty of interest within GI?
Hepatopancreatiocobiliary disease (Advanced endoscopy including EUS, ERCP), Reflux and Barrett’s Esophagus and colorectal cancer screening.

Undergrad: Trinity University in San Antonio, Medical School: University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, Residency: Baylor University Medical Center, Fellowship: Cook County Hospital of Chicago, Advanced Endoscopy Fellowship: Rush University Medical Center.

Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.

Movies, traveling, shopping, sports and cars.
