I am a gastroenterologist at St. Luke’s University Health Network. I received my medical degree from Jimma University School of Medicine in Ethiopia. I completed my medical residency at Lenox Hill Hospital and fellowship training in Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the Mount Sinai Hospital Elmhurst program. I am board certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. I am an active member of the American College of Gastroenterology and American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. I have published and presented my research findings at national academic gastroenterology conferences. Additionally, I serve as Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at St. Luke’s/Temple University School of Medicine.
