Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare: I am the Site Director of Radiation Oncology at WellSpan York Cancer Center and formerly Johns Hopkins faculty attending physician. I specialize in treating tumors of the prostate, brain, lung, and head & neck. Radiation treatment for these tumors includes brachytherapy (seeds), stereotactic radiosurgery/stereotactic body radiotherapy (SBRT), and proton therapy. I led the Hopkins team that developed the SBRT program at the Johns Hopkins Hospital and treated the first SBRT patient at Hopkins. What I want my patients to know about me: I strive to give every one of my patients the same care I would give my own family.
