Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare: I chose a career in medicine to help empower people to make positive changes in their lives to change the course of disease. I am a firm believer that primary care is on the front lines of health care, and as such has the greatest opportunity for affecting changes in the overall health of our community. What I want my patients to know about me: I want my patients to know that while I can prescribe medications for a variety of medical conditions, I also ascribe to non-medical interventions (e.g. dietary & lifestyle modification, physical therapy, meditation, behavioral health, etc.).
