Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare: When I was very young, my uncle was in a motorcycle accident which left him paralyzed. I remember when my family would visit him, I was more interested in helping my uncle than playing outside with the other kids. It was at an early age that I realized that I wanted to be a nurse since I found helping others to be so rewarding. What I want my patients to know about me: I want my patients to know that I genuinely care about their health and well being. I am very thorough and spend time listening to my patients, answering questions and ensuring that they are well informed regarding their care. Overall, I try my best to treat every patient as I would want my loved ones cared for.
