Today I arrived at the Honor Health Infusion Center in Glendale AZ at my designated time, 12:00 noon. Actually a little early to allow for sign in. I waited and waited and waited. No one came to take me to the infusion room. I finally walked back on my own to find what looked like an ER room. People everywhere and no empty chairs. I was told they would take care of me shortly. That was at 12:15. At 12:40 I was still waiting for my appointment. Shortly thereafter a nurse came to get me to prep for my infusion. I was not pleased at all. I’ve been coming to this center for quite a few years and have always been treated as someone they cared about and honored my time. While the nurse was kind and did the job well, I do not want my infusion time (about 3 1/2 hours to be like a feed lot at a cattle farm. I don’t know what honor health has decided to do with this Infusion Center but it’s a huge negative for me as a patient. While I’ve been vaccinated I’ve never been to a place that ran so far behind with so many people crammed into one space. The nurse did apologize but when Honor Health decides to run their business like a Banner facility I have to question if this is where I want to continue to get my infusions. I’m very disappointed and worried about what I will find in my next visit in 6 weeks. If you can go somewhere else I strongly advise that you do. HH used to be what I would call a medical company that set the bar a bit higher than others. Not anymore!!!! Maybe they’ve turned the management over to Banner. Very bad experience after so many years of positive ones. Now I’m less than s full number to Honor Health. Not a good feeling. Shame, shame!!!
