Providing radiotherapeutic cancer solutions since 1979, the Radiation Oncology Centers of Ventura County are the premier cancer treatment facilities with a very simple philosophy: To deliver the most efficient, effective and technologically current cancer care in Southern California. Our medical group is a founding member of The Cancer Center of Ventura County, an affiliate of UCLA Medical Center. Unique to our facilities in Ventura County, we provide every patient with a dedicated Radiation Oncology Nurse Navigator, a support individual who is tasked with guiding and overseeing each detailed element of a patient’s treatment from start to finish.

Services Our centers are led by renowned radiation oncologists Dr. Timothy A. O’Connor and Dr. Henry Z. Montes. Both are specialists in innovative radiotherapy treatment delivery, and both are recognized experts in stereotactic radiosurgery. Together, they lead a highly trained team that conducts IMRT, Brachytherapy, High Dose Rate (HDR) Brachytherapy, Image-Guidance Radiation Therapy (IGRT), and 3-D Conformal Radiation Therapy among other treatments. In addition to his clinical works, Dr. O’Connor is also the Chairman of the Cancer Program at St. John’s Regional Medical Center and has been listed as one of the “Best Doctors In America: Pacific Region.” A native of Ventura County, Dr. Montes previously served as Medical Director of the Radiation Oncology Department at St. Bernardine Medical Center. He is the recipient of numerous medical honors and awards, and is also fluent in Spanish.
