Rather than spend time alone, we encourage family and friends to stop by and participate in the activities at the center. We understand that loved ones may experience some mixed emotions when being moved to a facility of this nature, and we do our best to allow a smooth transition. The great thing is they have their own apartment and are able to maintain dignity. Our grounds at Christie's Place ALF 2 are beautiful. We encourage our residents to stroll among the gardens and to see both the inside and out. There are places to congregate and socialize with other residents. If they need help getting to doctorsÆ appointments, we are there for them. When it comes to end of life care, we can provide hospice services and make sure the family and resident is made comfortable. We pride ourselves in making sure our residents are comfortable. Our award winning facility is laid out in a way that our residents feel privacy and comfort. When nursing home care is not necessary, yet there needs to be someone to oversee daily activities, assisted living is a great option.
