I would not refer this doctor to anyone! His lack of interest and compassion, killed my father. He diagnosed him and put him on medication. For a week straight, my dad called for help, telling the doctor that he still couldn't breathe. Dr. Michel couldn't be bothered to take his calls or take the next step as to what may be the actual problem. He sent him for test after test, didn't take the time to sit with him and explain the results but just telling him he is fine and go home. Also told, let the medicine have time to work. Well after a week long of this lack of caring and interest, one morning he called the office again to speak with the doctor for help! It took 9 hours before a nurse called him back and told him they would send him on Monday for more tests. Needless to say, my dad didn't make it past that night. He went outside at 4 am to try to breathe and died! I am disgusted by this doctor and his services. You think you are getting the best doctors and care at a hospital like Sloan to find out you receive this treatment. Its like a factory of 100's of patients and no personal contact at all. Instead of taking the time to see what was going on with my dad, he couldn't be bothered. He took him away too soon from his wife, daughters and grandchildren. My 6 year old and 8 year old miss their grandpa and the wonderful man that they spent day after day with. In my opinion, this doctor has no right being called a doctor! And two weeks later and still not a phone call to check on his patient. Sickens me that you call yourself a doctor!
