Born and raised in the Shoals area, I was awarded my undergraduate and Masters degrees from the University of North Alabama. I have 20 years of experience as a counselor in Florence AL working with clients who are dealing with substance abuse and mental health issues. I am now in private practice and am working as an Independent Contractor with The Balanced Life LLC. I am a trained facilitator of the Transparenting program to help divorcing parents help their children through the divorce process as well. My practice consists of individual counseling services to adults and adolescents dealing with life transitions, stressful situations, anger management, making important decisions, and maintaining balance and well being.
