Kremer Home

The rooms are all private, no one shares a room. We try to make it as "home-like" as possible. Meals are served in the kitchen at a large table. We have a large living room where residents can watch TV, visit or read. Everyone can have their own telephone (not included with rent) and their own TV in their rooms (cable is included with rent). I am an LPN and monitor medications. If someone needs help with bathing we contact a family member to hire home health to come in and supervise bathing. This costs about $25 per visit (some grant money available for this service). Conneaut is a small town. We are about an hour from Cleveland. The sidewalks have all been replaced which makes it nice for walking. The home is situated next to a small park. If the resident still drives and the family wishes them to continue driving they may keep their car. We are about 1/2 mile from Lake Erie and we often take the residents down to the marina to see the water fowl and watch the sunset. We also take the residents to dinner at local restaurants and have large parties 4 times a year so residents can invite friends and family. We offer permanent residency, respite care, and adult day care.
