Our Apartments

Slidell Senior Residence and Taylor Lake Manor offer 153 one and two bedroom apartments to senior citizens  55 years and older.  Our apartments offer all appliances, carpeting, large closets, and large bathrooms. Our residents' rent includes heat, water, and trash pickup. Taylor Lake Manor, our two bedroom apartments, have washers and dryers, and Slidell apartments have laundry areas on each floor for resident use.  We have a no pet policy.

Applying

Applications must be made on-site and will include a tour and a meeting with the managers. Residents are qualified for rental assistance which is based on 30% of their adjusted gross income. Other qualifications must be met to receive the subsidy assistance.

On-Site Amenities 

GCCCard provides lunch on-site to residents who wish to participate.  Also, activities such as bingo and other games are held in the community rooms, as well as television viewing, and there is a computer room and treadmill for resident use. 

Our Managers 

Slidell and Taylor Lake Manor are under the experienced management of Flemon and Gale Ard who will seek to provide residents with all the assistance necessary for residents to live independently.
