There ARE differences between Home Care Companies.
1) Employ each CAREGiver. No independent contractors are used.
2) Screen each CAREGiver requiring a minimum of 6 references.
3) Perform criminal background checks using both state repository and court databases.
4) Train each CAREGiver with our industry leading 3-part training program.
5) Adhere to state and federal guidelines in employment practices, such as: withholding required taxes, providing workers’ compensation, bonding, general liability, and umbrella insurance.
6) Manage all CAREGiver payrolls, scheduling, and employee related matters.
7) Monitor CAREGiver services and make regular visits to the client’s home.
8) Reach our staff 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Home Instead Senior Care does not use pagers or answering services.
9) Bill twice a month.
10) Accept all major credit cards.
