Assisted Living Retirement Home II is located in Miami, Florida, situated in a quiet residential neighborhood. Just a few miles away is the beautiful Biscayne Bay and historical Biscayne National Park. Miami is well known for the warm climate and temperatures that remain in the 70's and 80's year round. A close knit residential community, our retirement home has a fourteen resident capacity with private and shared rooms available. Wheelchair accessible showers are provided for residents who require them. Healthy meals are prepared for our community members, with the option of a vegetarian diet. Indoor and outdoor common areas are provided for relaxation and visit with guests. On site devotionals are held and everyone is invited, but not required, to attend. Although indoor smoking is prohibited, our residents are welcome to smoke out doors. We recognize the close bond that people can develop with pets, some are considered family members, and we welcome pets at the home. Our senior care residence is designed for elderly people who may need some assistance with daily tasks, such as help getting dressed, bathing or taking medications. To ensure our residents receive the help and care they need, we have caring nurses on staff, a doctor on call and a visiting dentist. For medical needs, Mercy Outpatient Clinic is only eighteen minutes away and the Jackson Memorial Hospital is located only 11 minutes from our residence. We are an assisted living residence specializing in senior care, and understand how crucial independent living can be for the self esteem of the elderly. Choosing to move a loved out of their home and into a senior care facility can be stressful for everyone involved. But knowing they will be living where they will get the assistance, care and support they need can help ease that stress.
