MEDICAL ONCOLOGY & HEMATOLOGY The Medical Oncology and Hematology services patients’ receive at Arizona Oncology are provided by a team that consists of medical oncologists and oncology-trained nursing staff. This team plays an important role in the care of cancer patients by providing education to the patients and their families about various forms of cancer and the temporary side effects of cancer treatment. Our team has been caring for cancer patients in Arizona for over 30 years. We understand the toll that cancer can take on patients and their families, and each of us is committed to providing compassionate and personalized care. GYNECOLOGIC ONCOLOGY Gynecologic Oncology services plans and directs the study and treatment of malignancies arising in the female reproductive tract. These cancers include malignancies in the ovaries, endometrium, cervix, vulva and vagina. The cancer in these reproductive sites has significant differences in origin, prevention, detection, treatment and likelihood of cure. Our team has been caring for cancer patients in Arizona for over 30 years. We understand the hardship that cancer can take on patients and their families, and each of us is committed to providing compassionate and personalized care. RADIATION ONCOLOGY Arizona Oncology Radiation offers state-of-the-art technologies to provide effective radiation therapy and quality assurance monitoring to provide the utmost in patient safety throughout treatment. Our team of experienced physicians and staff has been caring for cancer patients in Arizona for over 30 years. We understand the toll that cancer can take on patients and their families, and each of us is committed to providing compassionate and personalized care. STEM CELL TRANSPLANT Arizona Oncology’s Cancer Transplant Institute, located at the Virginia G. Piper Cancer Center at Scottsdale Healthcare, is a new program created to provide comprehensive, personalized care for patients with blood cancers such as leukemia, lymphoma and multiple myeloma. Patients are seen in consultation at the Virginia G. Piper Cancer Center and undergo Stem Cell Transplants at the Scottsdale Healthcare Shea Campus. The Cancer Transplant Institutes provides complete care throughout the patient’s transplant process, from initial consultation services to follow-up care after a hematopoietic stem cell transplant.
