Skin by Lovely is an internationally-recognized leader in advanced medical aesthetic education for doctors worldwide, and is a National Educational Center for the manufacturers of Botox, Juvederm, Latisse, Restylane, Dysport and Perlane. Co-founder and Medical Director Lovely C. Laban, NP-C MSN was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest; growing up in a self-described 'hippie' family that believed that things like aesthetic treatments (Botox) were not natural, were fake-looking, and should be avoided. Like many other natives of the Pacific Northwest, she values all things that are organically beautiful. After more than 10 years, and becoming one of the most experienced injectors and educators in the U.S., Lovely brings her specialty of natural-looking facial aesthetics home to the Northwest at Skin by Lovely in Portland.
After receiving her Bachelor’s degree in Nursing at Seattle Pacific University, Lovely went on to earn her Masters of Nursing degree before becoming nationally-certified in the study of gerontology (the study of aging). Lovely and her team are able to combine the scientific and clinic knowledge of the aging process with their naturally-focused approach to anti-aging to give patients the soft, subtle, but beautiful results that they are looking for. After building one of the largest Botox clinics in the country, Lovely now lectures internationally on advanced injection techniques for aesthetic anti-aging products such as Botox and Juvederm.
