Dr. Michael Skonieczny graduated from the State University of New York at Albany with a Bachelor of Science with a degree in biology. He then attended the Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine, where he graduated Cum Laude with his Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine degree. Upon graduation, he then began his three year Podiatric surgical residency training at Memorial Hospital of Rhode Island, which is a teaching affiliate hospital with the Warren Alpert Medical School at Brown University. There, Dr. Skonieczny was extensively trained in both forefoot and reconstructive rear foot and ankle surgery.
Dr. Skonieczny is licensed in New York and board qualified by The American Board of Podiatric Surgery in both foot, rear foot and ankle surgery. He is also a member of The American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, The New York State Podiatric Medical Association and The American Podiatric Medical Association.
