I first met Dr. Mitchell in February of 2012 — just minutes before he did surgery on my badly damaged ankle, as he was my primary surgeon's resident at the time. Although I was very scared, he was extremely kind and reassuring. My surgeon also could not have given him higher praise, and I feel very fortunate that Dr. Mitchell has now joined a practice in a suburb very close to mine. I've already seen him there once, and he was again very helpful. If you're looking for a foot and ankle specialist on Chicago's North Shore, I highly recommend Dr. Mitchell!
