Dr. Hormozi completed his Pre-Medical courses at California State University of Northridge, after which he attended podiatry school at the California School of Podiatric Medicine. After completing 4 years of podiatry school, Dr. Hormozi was accepted to Providence Tarzana Hospital/Southern California Kaiser Podiatry Residency Program, one most respected and elite 3 year residency programs in the United States. Dr. Hormozi’s 3 year residency training placed heavy emphasis on the surgical correction of complex foot and ankle deformities, sports injuries, arthroscopy, pediatric surgery, revisional foot and ankle surgery, trauma, diabetic reconstruction, wound care, and limb salvage techniques. During residency, Dr. Hormozi completed several thousand procedures and surgeries, and worked with over one hundred foot and ankle surgeons. Because of his diverse and complex training, Dr. Hormozi has been able to develop his own surgical skills and techniques, allowing him to provide his patients with excellent surgical outcomes. Dr. Hormozi has given many lectures to hospital staff, sharing his knowledge and expertise in the field of foot and ankle surgery. In addition, he continues to attend many courses to continue to improve his own surgical techniques. Dr. Hormozi also believes in academics and education. He has publications in one of the world’s most respected medical journals, the Journal of Foot and Ankle Surgery. Dr. Hormozi grew up in the Southern California area, which is why he decided to stay local and serve the Los Angeles area with his great skills. Dr. Hormozi is known for his meticulous attention to detail, as well as his care and compassion for all of his patients. Dr. Hormozi is a doctor that patients can trust, he takes the time to listen to all patient needs, and delivers excellent healthcare. Dr. Hormozi performs surgery at Providence Tarzana Medical Center, Antelope Valley Hospital, Palmdale Regional Medical Center, and many other surgical centers in the Southern California area.
