Dr. Dominick Garibaldi is a proud member of the Boston community where he has resided and practiced since 1988. After obtaining his Bachelor of Science from Rutgers University, he went on to receive his Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine from the Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine (Rosalind Franklin Medical School). Dr. Garibaldi spent the years following podiatry school practically applying surgical techniques in numerous residency programs including the Walson Army Hospital in Ft. Dix, Westview Osteopathic Hospital in Indianapolis and finally, at St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester, Massachusetts.
In 1988, after completing his surgical residency, Dr. Garibaldi decided to hang his hat in Massachusetts and opened his first private practice location in East Boston. Today he continues to practice in Winthrop and Arlington and enjoys treating patients of all ages with a special interest in sports medicine and sports related injuries. He holds affiliations with professional organizations such as the American Podiatric Medical Association, Massachusetts Podiatric Medical Association and the American Diabetes Association and maintains his diplomat status with the American Board of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery as well as the American College Of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. Dr. Garibaldi is actively involved in continuing education to stay current with new technologies and services available in order to proudly offer state of the art treatment as well as the highest quality comprehensive care to his patients.
Dr. Dorothy Kurtz Phelan
Dr. Kurtz is a board certified podiatric physician and surgeon who has been practicing since 1999 in Maine, New Hampshire, and has spent the last 4 years practicing on the North Shore of Boston.
After graduating from Fordham University with a bachelor of science degree , she went on to Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia, PA to obtain her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree in 1996. She completed a three year surgical residency at Botsford General Hospital in Farmington Hills, MI, as well as an International Trauma Fellowship in Vienna, Austria.Dr. Kurtz operated her private practice in Kittery, ME, for 5 years, followed by working for several years in a large orthopedic surgery practice.
Dr. Kurtz is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association, Massachusetts Podiatric Medical Association, American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. She has experience in wound care as a Certified Wound Specialist, and is a Master Surgeon in Extraosseous Talotarsal Stabilization for flatfoot correction.
Dr. Kurtz is actively involved in continuing medical education to stay current with new technologies and services available in order to proudly offer state of the art treatment as well as the highest quality comprehensive care to her patients.
