Have you been feeling frustrated, unhappy, and unfulfilled in your primary relationship in life? Many people so much want to have a higher quality of life and get along better with their partner. When they do their best to improve their relationship, but it just isn't enough, they sometimes turn to a professional for assistance.
For the past thirty years I have specialized in helping couples better understand and resolve their problems. I use psychologically sophisticated approaches that could help you in deeper and longer lasting ways. Those who previously have had couples counseling or therapy can particularly experience and appreciate this difference.
Doing couples therapy effectively requires specialized knowledge, training, and competence. Therapists have a wide range of skill levels in this area. My extensive experience working with couples has given me much knowledge, many skills, and a wide array of insights into complex relationship problems and the solutions that are needed to resolve these problems.
As you probably know, some therapists publicize themselves as working with a particular type or "brand" of therapy. While a particular therapy approach or theoretical model can help some people, some of the time, it is not best for everyone. I believe that counseling/ therapy needs to be tailor-made just for you and your unique personality and circumstances. One size (that is, a specific "brand" of therapy) doesn't fit all! I believe that the most competent and helpful counselors and therapists know about all the major "brands" of therapy and use different aspects of these approaches selectively to best meet your unique and specific needs and challenges.
I work equally with couples and individuals. As I see it, some problems people have are more individual in nature, while others are more jointly created and expressed. I think it is crucial to keep in mind and balance both "alone" issues, and "together" issues. Successful counseling is flexible, creative, and collaborative -- a true expression of a well-functioning partnership.

We came to this therapist for my former wife's mental health issues. Unfortunately, there was no progress to be found in these sessions. Moreover, he laughed out loud when instances of racist behavior were described in therapy. I'm unclear whether or not he is a closet racist, but whatever his motivations are, but he is utterly unprofessional and discourteous. He did not even afford me the ability to finish my sentences without interrupting. He does not allow for normal discourse or for anyone to voice their past traumatic experience. Anytime issues of domestic abuse were brought up he quickly sought to muzzle the victims account. Avoid this therapist at all costs.
Awesome. Personalizes his therapy to fit the individual / couple, and has the capacity to employ a huge variety of approaches because of his depth of knowledge and experience.,
